This is a nice hide for your hamster. The side holes allow you to have a peek at your hamster inside and the hide comes as a single piece and does not need assembling. It is lightweight and a nice smooth wood with no splinters or jagged edges. It also comes with four small enrichment balls for your hamster. It’s also a pretty good size, not too small and not overly large. Fits nicely into my hamster’s enclosure.

I got this hideaway for my Syrian hamster, and she seems to really like it. I like it because it is very solidly constructed and big enough for her to comfortably fit into, without having to squish herself. There are no harsh odors, like some other wooden hamster houses. My hamster is a chewer, but she has not started chewing on this yet. If she were to constantly chew on only this hideaway, it would take her months to get through it all. I am a little concerned about the wood absorbing her urine and starting to smell, but that is an issue I will deal with as it comes. All in all, I believe this is a quality hamster hideaway, and I fully recommend it.
