Well you get what you pay for. The hangers tend to get loose every time grabbing the guitar. But otherwise it’s an okay wall display

To increase the strength to hold the weight of 6 bass guitars I mounted a finished 1x5 board to the studs first and then mounted the guitar hanger sections to the board. I don’t believe the provided drywall anchors would have been adequate.

Display is handsome and easy to retrieve and replace guitars from rack.

The quality of the hardware feels and looks great. I followed another review on this product and cut a 4ft long 1x3. I secured that to the studs first just to be extra careful. The brackets fit very snug over it. Of course, I would work recommend putting your anchors into the walls for the brackets themselves as well. Also, I have a 7 string Harley Benton bass and it’s neck is understandably too thick for the hangers themselves. I plan on bending them open ever so slightly so it can be in there. Oppositely my Fender Squire is too thin and will fall after hanging there for awhile. I wish the hangers were somehow adjustable.

UPDATE: 100% DO NOT BUY THESE!I have already had several guitars fall off these hooks (mostly overnight while I am sleeping.)Now some of my most valued guitars are irreversibly damaged. Unless you want the same fate for your axe's, run from this product now!---Previous review:The wall plates are fine and easy enough to install but the guitar hangers are pretty low quality and are already making me nervous. Some are a tight fit on the rails. some are very loose and will pop off easily while trying to take a guitar off the hooksThe adjustable joints are very flimsy and some won't hold in place at all causing the front end of the arm to swing all the way to the side risking bumping one guitar into another and damaging the finishes and then it leans pretty far down. Now that I have 2 sets installed (and thus 36 holes in my wall) I feel pot-committed so I am going to have to try and figure out how to jury-rig this to make it more stable. My advice would be to splurge on something a little better than this, especially if your guitars are especially valuable

This is so much better priced than other comparable hanging guitar racks. I was a little worried that there was a reason why it was so much cheaper. But as far as I can tell, it appears to be high quality and feels very sturdy hanging on my wall.

No concerns with the quality of this. Built solid. Did not mount it directly to the wall as I don't trust drywall anchors and it would be a lot of holes in the wall. Mounted to a board that was screwed into the studs. Not as pretty as some of those out there, but it does the job at a reasonable price.

Blown away, with how sturdy it is. Honestly thought it would fall apart. Used only the drywall anchors and with 6 electrics hanging it’s extremely sturdy. Will say the screws it comes with are garbage. That’s fine tho, that’s an easy fix. There’s a little Bowing on the when weights applied, but that expected. Guitar Center has a similar set up, and theirs does the same thing (with the Bowing of the metal arm).
