- 1. Locate the clamps on the bottom of tractor and loose the clamps.
- 2. You can see the tie rod is located on the flat plate; unscrew the pinion and nut on the flat plate.
- 3. Take the flat plate off
- 4. Take off the old tie rod from the spindles.
- 5. Place the new replacement tie rod on the plate. adjust the tie rod to the desired angle using the screw.
- 6. Install the flat plate back to the bottom of tractor

They are adjustable (originals are not). That enables you to align the front wheels. I had my old ones held together with zip ties. With the new ones, it's like I have power steering.

One of the end bolts broke on my steering rods of my John Deere L120 tracktor. I found these on Amazon, ordered them and installed them. Had to make sure the weeks lined up correctly but once set they worked great and I am back to cutting my grass.

Tried to order the same parts from Walmart and they sent me two right hand parts. Fought with them for a week to get a refund then ordered from Amazon. Got the right parts in three days.
