My daughter is 6 years old and normally wears a size 6 or 6/7 depending on how it's sized. She's 49" and weighs 65lbs. Since she is tall for her age I sized up to size 7/8 but it's too short. The base of the dress part just barely hits below her butt and I'm not sending my 6 year old out of the house in a mini skirt. If you have a shorter child it may fit ok. But the lace part is almost to the floor, so if I sized up 2 sizes bigger that part would hit the floor. I know the dress isn't supposed to be longer, the length that's pictured in the ad is perfect.The dress itself is so beautiful. It was going to be worn to a wedding but now I have to find another option. That or she may need to wear some black leggings or tights underneath. It fits her great everywhere else. The chest area and straps hit perfectly. All of the stitching looks even and high quality. She loves the dress and said it's very comfortable. She loves twirling in it. I just wish it was a few inches longer in the legs!

They were a lot faster on shipping than they first said!! They dress is now my daughters absolute favorite 🙏 shoes and dress are true to size for my girl! Prettier in person! No doubt!
