I have the matching forks and spoons. Love these. Dishwasher safe and no rust spots. Don't buy super expensive flatware when these are available. Not too heavy but solid. Love these!!!

A great strong, easy to grip knife. I eat Natural Peanut butter which needs what I callCranking because the oil separates. This knife is Perfect.Great for any spreading & can even cut some tough meat. Impressive looking too. I'm very happy with them. I don't like skinny knives . I can't grip them well. I stick even my short nails into my palm. These don't allow that.

I bought a set of Hampton Forge Melody several years ago under the Target brand. Classic design, nicely curved, perfect size and weight. I've lost a few pieces over the years but didn't want to buy a completely new and opted for the same design but different finish. So I bought this set which is the same design but hammered finish instead of satin. I was disappointed. The quality of the new set is inferior, less substantial in weight and slightly smaller in size than the old set. It's a good value considering the price of a little more than a dollar a piece but I would have paid more for better quality.

If you have the older set you will be disappointed with the fit and finish of these. They don't have the same heavy feel as the old set, the finish inst as refined and the edges on the older set is much more rounded and softer.roughly 15 year old knife of same model on the left/top compared to the new.

We had a set of this flatware for many years and always liked the heft and simple, elegant design. The handles are easy to hold and don't twist in your hand. They are sturdy enough to dig out hard frozen ice cream without bending. We were missing a few pieces due to loss over the years, and so decided to buy another set. The new set is almost exactly like the old set, just a little thinner. They stack together fine and you don't really notice the difference if they're set at the same table, but if you handle them and compare, the new ones are noticeably thinner and lighter. We use the old ones for scooping ice cream because the newer ones might possibly bend. It's not a big deal most of the time, but just be aware that they're not the same as they used to be. The metal is great quality though and hasn't corroded or stained.
