They are inside outside tires they can only be mounted one way if you are having troubles with traction that may be your issue and inflate tire to your cars recommended pressure

Bought these tires because on the treadwear. I have 20,000 miles on these tires and they still look brand new. These tires are good on dry pavement but what tire isn't. They are not good on wet roads. I haven't had trouble with hydroplaning but these tired are scary when turning or going around curves when the road is wet. These tires are easy to spin when taking off when the road is wet and my car has traction control. If I had known that I would have not bought these tires. I do not no recommend these tires unless you live in southern CA where they say it never rains.
