Thicker then other screens. Also the sides are very sharp and not smooth. Other then that, has done the job so far.

I’ve used this product (just the smiley one so far) daily, multiple times a day, for about a month now. I purchased the 53.5 mm and use it for my Breville Barista Express machine & portafilter. Even for the simple fact of keeping the ground coffee beans separated from the machine part for ease of cleaning is enough for me to be sold on this product! However, it doesn’t perfectly pop on and have to give it a little nudge in there to sit flat and tight, but it’s no biggie. Can’t imagine not using this!
