About this item

  • The Happymodel 2.4GHz ELRS nano series receiver is an open source program based on ExpressLRS, we have 3 types rx module released.
  • On the basis of PP RX, we have developed the Nano 2.4GHz rx of ESP8285 version named EP1 and EP2. The RF module of EP1/EP2 is the same like PP RX and use ESP8285 MCU . So you can upgrade firmware by WIFI , that's too simple
  • Due to the low-latency and high-refresh-rate RF module, they are very comfortable for FPV race and Long Range FPV. And very suitable for Tiny whoop because of the ultra light and Nano size.
  • Max output up to 1000mw, reserved Cooling Fan and RGB LED module. This Micro TX module support most of the OpenTX radio transmitter that with Micro JR bay. And this time the ES24TX Pro module comes completely assembled before out of factory.

The ES24TX Pro Micro ExpressLRS TX module is a upgrade version of ES24TX module.

I got this in December of 2024, and was initially worried by all the reviews talking about having to partition the firmware to update from v2 -> v3. Thankfully, both the TX and RX modules came with ELRS 3.0.1, and getting them connected to WiFi and flashed with an updated firmware was pretty smooth sailing. There is a bit of a learning curve with ELRS like anything in this hobby, but let's be real, if you wanted simple, you wouldn't be in this hobby!Coming from using TBS Tracer (similar to Crossfire), I'm very impressed by the ease-of-use of connecting the RX and TX to your home WiFi, and the use of a binding phrase. Makes everything a breeze!

Had to do a lot of reading, but I thank I Have tx and rx updated to 3.1.2 make sure you flash the transmitterwith repartitoner bin file before you update, its a fix for an error at the factory I guess, mine shipped with 2.0. Its binding and have output to the fc working, and found a luac scrip that works, if your using an old 9x plus like me, use version 2 script, version 3 gave me a memory error, and don't invert the uart like the configurator suggest, leave rcvr_uart_baud alone. Hope this saves someone a little time.

The unit arrived with the fan rattling around inside the unit, repaired but sounds like a jet plane when on. Hope the quality control gets better, in a pinch so will try to deal with it. Turned fan off in software until i can find another.

Great cutting edge rc control. Only hassle was I had to open xmitter case to do sw update. USB plug is not accessable unless case is removed.

this threw me, until I read the release notes ;)this shipped as v2 and it wont take v3 flash; the flash partition is too small, from the factory. not a problem; read the notes about running pkendall64 repartitioner (search it on github). flash THAT, first, and let it reboot and just wait a while. then power down the radio with the JR module still installed, power up and wait until it goes back to wifi, again. after it comes up, THEN flash your custom v3.0 firmware that you built with the configurator and it will work as v3.all the rest of my radios are at v3 so this had to be, also. v2 was not good enough.the lua script also works in my t16 radio (jumper). I'm running latest edge-tx (not opentx) 2.7.1so, again, you must repartition before you go to v3 or it will complain about 'size error' ; and that's because the factory partition wasn't big enough to support the larger v3 flash. the device can handle it, as mine is now at 3.0, but you have to do that extra step ONCE, when the factory does not partition properly. not elrs error but factory error and easily fixed by users.
