I've had these brake pads on my daily driver for two years now and they've been great. They added a noticeable increase in bite force as well as a slightly firmer brake pedal. While doing multiple spirited drives in the mountains, they never showed signs of fade on the downhill, even when the brakes got hot and started smoking one time.I drive year round, from negative temperatures up to nearly 100 degrees F, and they don't feel inconsistent with temperature. While there is brake dust, it's not bad and takes a few hundred miles to really accumulate. The noise is minimal, too, and will occasionally emit a quiet squeal under light braking. Under most conditions though, there is no noise.Overall, these are a great pad for those who want better performance for their street car.

Purchased the Hawk Performance HB145F.570 HPS Rear brake pads for my 2001 acura cl type s. Unfortunately, these pads were not a direct bolt on. I went to install them and could not push the caliper on all the way. The caliper piston was hitting a metal boss on the back of the pad. I had to grind one of the protruding round button off the back of the pad backing plate. Once done the calipers installed correctly. I paired them with new drilled and slotted rear rotors. For the front, I also went with Hawk Performance HPS pads along with a new set of drilled and slotted rotors. After initially seating these brake pads, the combination is great. I have at time of writing about 600 miles on them with quite a few high speed express way stops. Brake pedal pressure is smooth and stopping power is excellent for a daily driver. As far as brake dust, well after 600mi some dust washed off nothing excessive. I have used Hawk HPS pads on other vehicles and have been very happy and its the first time I have ever had a fit issue.

I have had Hawk HPS brake pads on the front of my 05 Civic for the last 3 years and they have performed very well. The pedal feels very firm and responsive and the front pads still have plenty of friction material left after 3 years of use. I purchased the same pads for my rear brakes when I converted them to discs because I was so impressed with the front pads and these rear pads also seem to perform very well and not make much dust. The only complaint I have is that for this price it would be nice if the pads included the clips with them, but oh well.

Brake dust is pretty heavy than OEM, leaves a little residue on the stock rims of my Civic. Nonetheless it does have great braking though.

Do not trust the amazon car part verificator. Those pads DO NOT fit a 2007 honda element. So much wasted time for something that should work easily.

After owning and using these for several months now, I've concluded that these are great brake pads. Honestly I would like to give a 4.5 rating as opposed to a 4, but it's just not quite a 5 so I have to give it a 4.The performance is excellent, I'd say it's better than the OEM pads. However, with these pads you are going to get a lot of brake dust on your wheels. I have these installed on my daily driver (Civic EX '11) and I have very brown/orange-y tinted wheels over time due to the brake dust. This isn't a problem with OEM pads, so it is a minor tradeoff - that I had to dock off 0.5 from my rating.

I am a huge fan of these brake pads ever since I first started using them 8 years ago. They don't leave messy brake dust, and if they do it's very minimal. Lasted long too. I'm going to need replacement for the front ones so I'll be purchasing another set soon. Awesome product.

I have owned Hawk HPS+ pads on my old Honda Prelude. They dusted and squeaked, but once up to temp they had absurd stopping power. These HPS pads now on a Honda S2000 are nothing like their big brother. I have done 2 autocrosses on these pads, and quite a bit of hard-brake-cooking mountain road drives. The HPS resits brake fade quite well. However compared to the OEM Honda S2000 pad they have lesser overall stopping power, lesser initial bite, and dust significantly more. This is probably due to Honda's aggressive S2000 OEM compound. The pads have never squeaked. When it comes time to replace these I will go back to the HPS+.

Hawk brake pads give much better braking performance than the Honda factory pads. They are quiet with no squealing of any kind. The may groan a bit when moving at very low speeds while pressing the brake pedal, but many pads do that.Note the picture is a generic picture of front pads.Make sure you have the correct part number by going to the Hawk Performance website! For the rears make sure you align one of the grooves on the caliper piston with the pin on the pad.
