second set of Hawks and after 30k miles they are delaminating. for high end ceramic pads that's UNSAT. back to akebono

These fit a 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner (and lots of other models, I'm sure).I replaced a pretty fresh set of OEM pads with these (and the same model for the other axle), and they definitely have better initial bite, heat resistance, and overall stopping power.I have black wheels, so dust doesn't show much, but I can say from experience that these will definitely be messier.Mine are completely silent. Your experience may vary.I tend to like Hawk HPS pads as upgrades for my trucks. I think they're a little too wimpy for my sports cars, but as a step up on non-performance vehicles, I find them to be a good value.

I usually get ceramics but Hawk ceramics is not available for my vehicle in the rear. Read that this HPS was like ceramics. Quiet. Not sure about the about of dust yet since these are rears.

These are either knock offs or Hawk Performance brake pads quality has gotten significantly worse in the last 5 years. I barely have 9 mos/12k miles on my pair of brake pads for an FJ Cruiser and the brakes started squealing. The amount of dust was extensive and the pads wore unevenly. I regret buying this and you will too. Photo attached of front passenger side of vehicle.

Got these for a 2007 Toyota Sequoia. Good packaging that came with anti-squeal grease. I've had them installed for several months now, but they still make a little noise once in a while. Otherwise, they work great!

Called Autoplicity.com about their so called Low Price Guarantee. After being on hold for nearly seven minutes, I was told that the guarantee is subjective. In other words, they would not match a competitor's price. Simple decision- the competitor with the lower price and better customer service gets the sale.
