Tried every means but can not resolve terrible squeaky noise: new rotors, CRC Disc Brake Quiet, and CRC 05361 Silaramic Brake System Grease. Purchased in July 2021 and installed now (March 2022). Too late for return. And, it scratches the rotor too much. I gave up this pads and buying another pads by different manufacturer.

I’ve used hawk hps pads in several cars. These seem to be on par with past experiences. I only put them in the rears of my M5 but will do the fronts with the same. Good initial bite and strong braking power. No noise.

It's interesting since I've used Hawk HP Plus pads on street with at least 4 different cars including the integra type r, rx7 FD3S, E30 m3, and now the E46 M3. Only the type R and E46 M3 have i used on the track. the type r had no issues on track. The e46 m3 at 3600lb with me in it had issues in 75F weather. the pads began to melt and left some glaze on my rotors.another issue is how noisy these pads are, they used to be tolerable on other cars but after bedding again and again they are VERY noisy. I'd recommend you either go with the street pads, or jump straight to DTC-60.

It works as described. The stopping characteristics are about the same as the original pads but they reduced the brake dust significantly.

This is my second set of Hawk HPS pad. I have tried many pads but Hawk HPS is the best for street and track use. Stopping power is better than BMW OE pad and almost no brake dust at all. It did lacking of some cold bite, definitely you can feel it, but once its warm up, it rocks ! This is the first time I can feel the connection between driver and the brake pad, especially you can feel it when it is cold or warm. Performance in the weekend trackday is perfect, two thumbs up !

These pads, once they've been bedded in (which takes around 1K miles), do a very good job. I used these on both the front and rear of my '95 BMW 740i, and I'm quite happy with the performance. I replaced the rotors with cheap Centric non-drilled non-slotted rotors, and they still work very well with my "enthusiastic" driving. They seem to be creating a lot of dust, but I've only used them for a couple thousand miles so far; that could be a result of the bedding process. Never the less, I've used EBC Green Stuff on other large cars (such as my Grand Marquis and Tahoe) recently, but will probably be switching to Hawk pads next time I need to replace my pads on those cars.The one star deducted is for the relatively high (but not unreasonable) initial amount of dust. I'll post a follow-up later on if I remember.
