I like this HDMi to composite cable because it does not require USB power to function like many other adapters do. This means you can use it without any USB power adapter plugged into the wall. This is one of the few cables I have seen that is capable of converting HDMI to composite through passive means. The image looks as good as the one I have that uses USB C for power and is much bulkier. Only downside is that this one doesn’t have a switch for alternating between PAL and NTSC standards but it still seems to work fine on my North American Sony Trinitron TV.

I can't fault them for my lack of reading comprehension- I needed a digital to analog converted and this very clearly states that it does not have that function. So no loss for stars there at all. I still wanted to give a decent review, so I set up an experiment where I had HDMI to HDMI going from BluRay to TV, and then switched it to use this converter. Picture quality was the same, and there seemed to be a slight loss of audio quality, though I don't know there's any way around that. Price point is ok considering what it CAN do, but bear in mind that its functionality is extremely limited. For most applications you will need to extend it on either side. For my experiment I had to hold the BluRay in the air because the cord is short. Good quality for what it does, though.

I attempted to connect my Nintendo Switch to my minivan, which features older RCA connectors, but I couldn't get it to function. It's uncertain whether the issue lies with the cord or the minivan itself. Currently, I don't have another device to test it on, so I can't provide much insight on the cords at this moment.
