Kit was easy to install and had all the parts needed. Now have a gas fireplace that will operate when the power goes out!

This has to have batteries changed every few months even when not in use. Product is less than one year old, and the batteries have been changed 4 times. The manufacturer does not support their product unless you buy it from them or one of their approved dealers. This seller only gives 3 months of support.

I am reading the comments and see some people having issues but I have this remote unit in 2019 and still works without issue, I would say make sure the controllers are not too close to the flame and properly insulated.

There were plenty of pieces to install but after installing I detected a small leak in the feed line to the pilot flame. I re-tightened the lead but still has a slight odor so I shut it down.

Product worked for one winter. I attempted to use it this past winter but the pilot ignitor didn't spark and remote didn't work despite changing batteries in the remote and receiver. I called spotix for support and was told I need to hire an HVAC technician. Paid over $300 for a product I used for about 3 months. Don't waste your time or money with this product or seller.
