This is a beast! Very heavy but cuts excellent for my books that I make. The measurements are a bit confusing to navigate. Has a great safety mechanism which is good for kids and pets.

this is a good product. but the corner was damaged in transit. even then I decided to keep it as it is working fine

Initially the product worked as advertised, but we've used this for only 4 months now and it won't even cut thru 5 pieces of standard paper anymore. The blade dulls extremely quickly and there is no guarantee or sharpening available for it, so now we need to purchase another new paper cutter. Extremely disappointed in this.

Hi. A woman here. Just taking a quick break from making dinner and doing the laundry to report on my experience with the Frifreego Heavy Duty Paper Cutter.I’m sad to say, this product is not as advertised! I purchased it with the understanding that it would be easy to use--even for a woman. But my feeble mind could not comprehend how to align the pages. My weak arm could not lower the blade. This difficulty called to mind that disastrous occasion on which I tried to drive a car. I was so confused. I cried. I bled. (Of course it was that time of the month.) What a mess!I will be asking my big, strong, handsome and emotionally walled-off boyfriend to repackage and return it, as the task is simply beyond me. Am happily getting back to ironing his shirts and starching his collars, and I won’t be troubling my silly little head with thoughts of block cutting anymore.Would suggest that this complicated piece of machinery should be operated only by men. But what do I know? I’m a woman.

The machine was easy to assemble and cuts very accurately. It does not require a lot of strength to cut the edges of a book block. Being able to have clean, neat edges adds so much to the professionalism of the books I make. I am so glad I bought this machine.

Nicely designed sturdy paper cutter that is easy to use and accurately trims booklets. I had some questions after reading the instruction manual, but the company promptly responded to all of my questions, and I believe they are interested in improving the manual. I was concerned that spare parts might be difficult to obtain, but I found a replacement blade and another part available on Amazon. This is a good value for the money, and I recommend it.

Arrived packaged well and in good condition. It's a solid product, but doesn't weigh more than one person can easily lift. The knife is sharp and cuts so easily it's almost hard to tell when you've finished the cut. I use it for trimming the edges of paper book blocks in binding journals, and it easily cut through at least 150 pages. Everything was square, and easy and efficient to use. The measuring square wasn't very wide for accuracy, but it worked well enough. All in all, good for the price.
