1957 Speedster

Just a little large for 2" application to Vintage Speedster reproduction Porsche so I cut 4 slots in the end and used a 2" Evil Energy clamps to attach. No welding needed which would have been difficult in such a tight space. Tips are now attached to an EMPI 4 into 1 header that had 2 small resonator tips on collector that I bored out (and made it VERY loud). So I shortened the existing welded tips with a Sawsall and attached Hedman tips to it. Sounds great and runs SO MUCH better now that the exhaust can free flow with the larger diameter resonator! So it’s still basically a straight piped system but not too loud. Highly recommend for any VW or 356 Porsche flat 4 engine.

Great exhaust tip used in conjuction with two Morosso muffers (one center-mounted in place of damper type muffler). This looks like a tiny glass pack inside but it has a restrictor , which reduces sound volume I'm sure. End result for me is a distinctive low bass sound and shiny chrome tip to impress the females. I had to get a restraining order on some of the babes after installing this. Hot Tips.

Wish they made a little larger inner diameter of the muffling part. But it does quiet down an exhaust tremendously. I stuffed this into a Fox Mustang with 2.5" exhaust system.
