The battery was left inside the airppane on two separate purchases. It rotted out the electrical parts . They did remove the big truck battery so that works fine . They must have gotten these cheap from Hess company. I bought my first one months ago so couldn't return it . My grandson was sad the plane didn't work so I bought another one - big mistake but at least I could return that one . Not worth the price since only half works . I will avoid this seller forever.

Order arrived when promised, however the truck and the airplane had old batteries in them. The batteries in the truck were corroded.

we have them all.. i bought the first HESS truck at a flea market, and since then fell in love with the look and the quality - they just don't make toys that way anymore. by now my son has 4 HESS trucks, and they are all super unique and well-designed. the lights they have, they make them just magical. highly recommend this toy for any car-loving kid - it's a collectible!

I have ordered so many of these Hess trucks in the past two months and have been satisfied with all of them except one. These trucks are so well made and are durable. The price I have paid has been reasonable.
