I have not tried it out in the water yet, because I hate cold water, but I plan to! The fit was good for me at my measurements of 36, 29, 36. I am short waisted, and I ordered a size 6. The zipper took a couple of trys to get up because of the snug fit, but I understand that is expected because you need a snug fit with a wersuit. I've been on cruise line excursions before where I wished I had something like this to wear because early morning snorkling even in the carribean can be chilly. I would feel a lot better if I had this to slip on before jumping in. Even though I haven't tested it out, I know it would help take the chill off.

This Hevto 3mm neoprene wetsuit vest has been an excellent addition to our water sports gear! It fits true to size (Size 4 in our case) and offers just the right amount of compression and warmth without feeling restrictive. The material is thick enough to keep the core warm during longer swim sessions, diving, or jet skiing, while the sleeveless design allows for great freedom of movement. The quality of the neoprene is impressive for the price—durable, flexible, and quick to dry. The seams are well-constructed, and the zipper feels secure and smooth. It’s perfect for layering with a full wetsuit or rash guard in cooler water or wearing on its own in milder temps.Whether you're snorkeling, paddle boarding, or doing any kind of water activity, this vest provides solid thermal protection and a comfortable fit. Highly recommend for women looking for a reliable and affordable wetsuit top.

This review is for the "Hevto Wetsuit Vest Women 3mm Neoprene Wet Suit Tops Sleeveless Surfing Diving Swimming Jet Ski for Water Sports".Reviews of clothing can be challenging in terms of relevance to other potential buyers. As everyone is well aware... Size matters. Getting the perfect fit for the myriad of body types and sizes is a practice in compromise. Not that compromise should reflect on the overall quality of a clothing item.In this case we have a neoprene sleeveless 3mm top. Excellent for warmth as-is, or a great top when layered with other clothing. The construction of this top is very cleann nice seams, quality neoprene, a functioning zipper. It's a 3mm fabric a thickness that will work well for the colder winter days in North Florida and with layers it will work on those more rare even colder days. It doesn't restrict paddling strokes or arm movement at all.Not having sleeves should prolong the life of this top. There is very little of it that will be subject to folding/bending, both wear neoprene poorly. Just don't store it with hard bends. And clean it regularly, especially if it's used in salt or chlorine waters. It's difficult to provide more information than this on an initial review, especially for a product that is seasonal in use. Expect updates later this year, when the cool weather paddle season begins. The value for the dollar spent is reasonably high. Neoprene isn't cheap, nor are the zipper and labor to make it. The price is in-line with competitive products - certainly no higher that one would expect, even with the quality of construction this has.

This wetsuit top/vest is great!I ordered Large per the size chart, recommended for Height 67.5" - 69.5" (Me: 63" or 5'3") Weight 140 - 160 (Me: 145) Chest 36 - 38 (Me: 36C/38B - 38" with swimmer shoulders). As you can see in the pics, it is snug as it should be but I still have mobility and don't feel like I am too compressed in chest to breathe. Pretty comfortable!I intend to wear this on the lake, when the water temps are bit chilly or the wind is strong (making it cold on upper body out of water at the sandbar with the waves splashing, wind blowing, etc.) This will help retain some of the body heat on the upper body exposed to the above-water elements. This seems to be a fair value as there are others around this price point (although I cannot speak to the quality of the others). If anything comes up with durability, I will update this review. If no update, you can assume it is sufficient, I am still happy with it and would recommend it!

Update to 4 stars- The customer support team has reached out to me based on my review. I've provided them my size details and they are going to send a different size.I also want to mention that the smell of the original one is now gone as I expected.I'll update my review again once the new one is received.I am someone that goes for open water swims. I have a full body wet suit and was looking forward to a vest to use with a pair of neoprene wet suit shorts that I have. I sized up based on recommendations and the size chart. I usually wear a size 4 and I ordered an 8. I think a 6 would have been better. The waist fits well but there is gapping at the armpits and in the back. There is a lot of extra room in the chest area which I would hope a size smaller would alleviate. My daughter also tried on this vest as she would likely fill the top better and she also found it to be overly roomy. This vest will be good for kayaking and paddle boarding but likely not great for OWS. A wet suit should be snug. I am able to move my arms freely and I wasn't getting any rubbing so I'm not worried about chafing. The stitching and quality is a 7 of 10. There is a very strong odor out of the package which I assume will dissipate with time. For the price point, I would say it's a good value. Not great for small chests. Otherwise I do like the look.
