I could only get it to connect two times out of several attempts. Each time trying to get it to connect resulted in a lot of aggravation. The only way the camera would connect was if you select their "wifi" (makeshift connection) for their device. When you do this the camera will work on the app but you will rely on your cell LTE network while you're using the camera app.You also have to be able to scan the QR sticker on the camera to be able to connect with it every time you want to use it. So if you're planning on setting this up you will want to remove the QR code sticker from the device before you plant it. When you connect the camera it lights up with blue and red flashing lights. Those lights will remain on and blinking until you go into the camera app to shut them off. As soon as you connect your wifi, the connection with the camera on the app is lost and you have to start all over again.

I was very excited about this product.Pros:SmallDecent pictureDecent night visionCons:Took a bit to figure out how to turn on motionIT DOESNT RECORD MOTION. JUST TAKES A SNAPSHOT. SO YOU MISS ANY ACTIONthe battery life is garbage. Only lasts a couple hours.Don’t waste your time. There’s no point in the camera detecting motion if it doesn’t record with emotions. A picture doesn’t do any good as it usually Mrs. what the actual problem is. Besides, it will last about two hours without losing a charge.
