I use this tape measure holder every day. It's nice. Very well made. It would be good to have the same one that clips on instead of being looped in, but I'm super happy with it either way.

twpe doesn't stay in if you run up stairs tspe goes flying out if you go running down stairs tape goes flying out if yoh lean over tsle falls out, the loop thst goes around the belt is wayyyyyyy to big so it just sags and the tspe measure falls out when yoh move would say make thst sticching g tighter might have some more structure

Initially purchased for work belt and have purchased a second one for my use at home. Would like to see this with strap to secure tape measure. Good value for the cost.

It’s seemingly a nice leather piece of material. A 25’ Fat Max fits perfectly. However, the tape measure falls out. The leather is pretty flexible and flappy after a week’s use, so if you have to crouch or bend it will pop out. I read reviews about this possibility, and chose to ignorantly ignore their happenstance. Mine fell out crouching while on scaffolding. Shocking slow motion process ensued, hitting and putting a huge dent in the metal window sill we previously put in 20 feet below. There’s no fixing that, other than a beauty cover piece at this point. I will never use the holder again. Very upset about the damage it caused. You may like it for light use, with no crouching of any sort or care of what damage it may cause when falling out.

I didnt buy this for its intended purpose. I use it to hold a BT charger case the exact same measurement as my tape measure. They were sitting beside one another on my work bench and it gave me the idea.The leather is very nice, build quality is excellent. It sits comfortable on the waist.

I've had two or three different tape holders in my lifetime. All of them have been "okay" but nothing to write home about. Hide & Drink nailed it! Talk about quality and craftsmanship. Thick full grain leather holder, nice steel rivets for durability. Comes in a awesome little canvas bag with leather drawstring which I will be keeping around for any other use. It was a nice little detail that wowed me. Time will tell how it performs. (I am sure there will be no issues) But with a warranty of 101 years full replacement, there is nothing to worry about. I will be oiling it up and placing my favorite 25' FatMax tape in there and start putting it to work as soon as possible!

The belt loop is so big that over time the weight of your tape measure will cause the holder to do a full 180 around your belt and dump your tape measure. I have had this happen multiple times. Its well built and fits my dewalt 25' with clip no problem but the belt loop is just too big. Needs to be smaller. One of these days I will sew it smaller. That is my only gripe but it reminds me everyday when my tape gets dumped

Folks - I have bought 1000's of items off of Amazon for many years and never felt compelled to leave a review - Hide & Drink's Leather Tape Measure Holder is such a superbly crafted and wonderful product that this time I just had to. The leather is thick and durable, but still flexible enough for constant easy access to the tape measure when working. It is terrifically well made and has more rivets than many (maybe all?) of the holders you see at the national hardware and big box stores. A great, great product! Enjoy.
