Great price, next day delivery and it's Hitachi so my Xterra loved it so if my Nissan is happy I'm happy. Now if I could get this 2001 Xterra to stop chewing up distributors, and the sending unit I could stop thinking about packing it with 300#'s of tanner### to send it into the next world with a fireworks show Id be even more happy. But no issues with the crank position sensor it's a bit of a pain to get to it (thanks Nissan engineers) but it clipped up and functions the way it should and it said made in Japan on the box so no failure prone knock off's, somethings are okay for crappy knock offs just not anything that you would have to rely on. Overall a good product, if your looking for one this is the way to go at least it worked out for me.

The crankshaft position hides on top of the transmission (wtf nissan) but once we got the old one out, we popped this one in and had no issues. Did you know you can test if a crank sensor is working by measuring its signal using AC volts on a multimeter? Try it!I'm fairly certain this a genuine part. We needed it because we had a crankshaft circuit code P0335 (I think) that was partially caused by a bad sensor and then a crappy wire repair from the previous owner. Our Hitachi sensor stated it was produced in the country that makes a lot of aftermarket parts (the very large red one next to russia)
