  • Tool-less depth or drive adjustment for flush fastening in varying materials
  • Selective actuation on trigger allows for either sequential or contact nailing
  • Cylinder valve drive system for Rapid response and increased durability
  • Rubber grip for superior control and comfort during use

There is nothing better than the classics and the Hitachi NR83AA5 is the proof. Relying on the same cylinder valve drive system as the original NR83AA from the 80's, the NR83AA5 offers both a rapid response and some serious driving power, to quickly and consistently sink up to 3 1/4” X 0.131” into the toughest materials. With the selective actuation now located on the trigger, we not only reduced the total number of parts in the trigger, but also eliminated all composite parts.

What can I say. Hitachi is the top of the line for the professional carpenter. I've owned several of these . Started buying them in the early 90's ........update..... after using this stapler a few months, I am not happy with it. The nose is backwards making it tough to place the staples where you want them and the gun is not balanced well at all. And bulky. The old paslode staplers were great, but they've cheapened them up and miss fire constantly. Max here I come.

Great gun, very solidly built. It shoots any nails you feed it. (Rusty, galvanized, etc.)It doesn't have a depth adjustment, so you have to lower the air pressure to avoid overdriving 8's.At full pressure, it sinks 16's into anything, including LVL and old native lumber.

I like this gun but it doesn't have a depth adjustment so I went back to the NR83A5 with plastic collated nails.
