Excellent light weight and adjustable (while on the water) Bimini shade. Seems very well made. A little fiddley to put up and take down the first time. Recommend watching YouTube video at least once. After the first practice use, it was fast and easy. This top will truly make future hot summer trips in my Passport much more pleasant. Does not obstruct view or get in the way for my boating (photography) use. I imagine if you are mostly fishing, you’d want to think about it a bit first. But overall, I highly recommend. Mine is the light gray and matches the boat very well.

Bought (2) for our Hobie Passports and I have to admit, its a game changer. Works perfectly and VERY well made. All poles are (blue) anodized aluminum and the fitment is tight. The rear straps are adjustable to pull the canopy down towards your back. Kinda pricy but worth it imo

Was so excited for this bimini top, went to use it for the first time yesterday and the tube insert broke when i was putting it on the kayak!!! I am so disappointed, if i had known it was this flimsy i wouldnt have gotten it. I expected better from Hobie

I kayak several times a week and use the Hobie Kayak Sun Shade. It is quick and easy install (less than 5 minutes) and protects me from the harsh rays of the sun.

I am so glad I purchased this for paddle trips on lakes. Not good for rivers for obvious reasons. But no regrets.
