It does drop the air cleaner, and really any dropped base pretty much works on the Sniper if you aren't using the front fuel line fittings. The thing is that the Holley Sniper has a stiff throttle and is touchy coming off idle. The throttle arm is too short for good mechanical advantage. This is a known issue. Holley makes a throttle extension arm that fixes the problem and it is pretty much mandatory on most Sniper installs. This air cleaner base doesn't clear the arm extension though. I have gotten it work, but it takes some crude looking bending and tweaking, I wish Holley would rework this base to be compatible with their throttle extension kit, if they did this would be a perfect base.

Well built and good design for Holley EFI carb. Unfortunately, it was much too low on my engine because of distributor housing
