We put the plate up on a stand, the writing is large enough to read across the room. The goal was decorative not usage for food. It would make a nice wedding, anniversary, new home, first child gift. The decorative colouring of flowers and blue around edge goes really well with some Iznik (Nicean) Pottery purchased years ago that have a blue fish sea theme.

I love this plate. We have it on the wall in our front hall and I stop several times a day and read the wonderful and encouraging words on it. It is very colorful and attractive and we are very thankful we were able to find this.
