These are heavy. the lid seals tight, and are a great quality. Way cheaper than the ones they discontinued and used to sell in a four pack in the stores. Once I saw how good they are, I bought more. Perfect for freezing soups and sauces.

I have ball freezer twist tops. Always had a problem twisting the tops so they remained closed.

Reusing food containers from food you bought has always been irritating. Don’t be cheap. Get these screw top heavy duty easy to clean ones.

The product details say "LIDS FORM AN AIRTIGHT, LEAK-PROOF SEAL" which seems to be mostly true except when they are on their side, then they leak quite a bit.

I love them! They are sturdy and can be put in the freezer. I use them all the time, just ordered another 2 batches. I can freeze chili, sauces or soups in them, warm them up enough to remove the ingredients. Then pop the contents in a spot, and slowly warm it up.

Great pots. Very solid and the screw on lid feels very safe. Have used many times now for soup, oats, fruit etc and no leaks.

These storage containers handled my homemade tomato soup really well. The plastic seems strong enough to stand up to fairly hot temps. I let the soup cool down a bit after cooking. After storing the soup for a few days the containers washed out completely leaving no tomato staining at all in the plastic.The lid seals completely. I don’t expect that it would leak if it was knocked over on the counter or if it was on the car floor and tipped over while driving. However if it fell off the counter to the floor, I suspect the impact may cause the plastic to flex to the point that the lid pops off and the contents spill out. I don’t know for sure but I’m not testing that scenario. It’s well built with good quality, but don’t plan to drop it in your backpack and expect it to handle being tossed about without spilling.Nice size for storing leftovers in the refrigerator. I like that it’s fairly compact and that you can stack them in the refrigerator.
