The yard length of the string that comes with the handle is unknown because it was not listed in the product description, but the spool will not hold the (subjective) 400 yard capacity sought. (Update: Spool string is 200 feet, about 68 yards.) Since 30 lb test line is sufficient, the accompanying 50 lb test line is more than is needed. A lighter weight fishing line works better. (Users of a heavier kite will not want this handle.) The main consideration is the comfort level of the handle that will be probably be held 30-60 mins while flying. The handle fits an adult hand well. If kids are involved, consideration for the younger hand is warranted. The light pastel colors are good, especially for finding/locating if the handle is dropped in taller grass.

I am always out of kite string or I find the ones I have tangled up. I spend most time then untangling it - and figured I may just have a few extra on hand for quick use. This set is cute and very functional. Great for kids and casual use. The included string is quite long and suffices for most normal kite flying sessions and supports all kinds of kites. Great for the kit and spring is right around the corner.

These kite strings are a really great value. I was flying kites on a pretty windy day, and the kites were really fighting coming back down. The string held up to all that perfectly!My favorite thing is the string is tied at the end! I hate when I get a spool and have to unwind the whole thing to tie a knot at the end.

Ordered these as replacement for kite string. String comes pre-coiled on convenient handles with a 20lb fishing swivel snap link on the end making it fast and easy to connect to the kite as long as the receiving hole does not have any reinforced plastic that's too large for the snap link. Otherwise works well. Received it today and already using it.

The handles are nylon and the string is polyester.Installation/setup: Attach string to your smallish kites and fly.Final thoughts: I got this to use the string for tying t shirts for tie dyeing. The poly string doesn’t absorb the dye and is recommended for securing folds that don’t require tight ties for lines. The string is plenty strong for my purposes and is working out well. I like this and I’m glad I got it.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

A nice four pack of kite strings. I like that these are available so that I can still use my old kites that have broken strings. What else good can I say about them? They are exactly what they say they are and are at a reasonable price.

Perfect pack for a day at the park. Had a couple of kites I wanted to take the grandkids out to fly but didn't have any string, so I ordered this multi pack. It was just what we needed to make the day a success. The string was heavy enough for the small kites we were flying but not so heavy to bare additional weight. It was sturdy, somewhat tangle resistant, easily held in a child's hand and simple enough to wind back up.
