Tired of trying to straiten the stamped Honda valve cover when adjusting valves or fixing an oil leak. This is the solution. You will also need a gasket Honda 12312-Z2A-000 and what many leave out, longer M6 x 25mm Flanged Hex Head Bolts. I would also use a small amount of Honda Bond or similar sealer. Now when you need to remove the valve cover it will not bend trying to pry it off the glue – sealer. I plan on keeping my HRX 217 for many more years so this is a more permanent solution than buying new stamped vale covers. If you can find this cast cover, buyit as they can be hard to find. I bought mine earlier this year on Amazon for only $17. Now they are listed for $30. There are YouTube videos that show this conversion and one of them, a small motor shop stated he had difficulty in getting them at times.

This is not made for my Honda 190cc engine. But it works just fine with the valve cover gasket. The Engine uses a tin cover and it leaks like crazy. If you need to adjust the valves on your engine I suggest this and buy the valve cover.
