Perfect fit for my HRR2163VXA. Old gears were stripped and were the cause of the SmartDrive to be inoperable. I also installed new rear wheels (Honda 42710-VH7-010ZA) to optimize traction. Highly recommended to breathe new life into your old Honda.

You need these when your wheel support cracks or breaks. Also don’t forget new rear wheels. Original parts are the way to go.

The pinion gear is a perfect replacement for my worn gear! Do yourself a favor and buy two, replacing both at the same time!

It’s the only thing on a Honda mower that wears out. The replacements work great. Just be sure to count the teeth on your old gear before you order. There are 12 tooth gears and 13 tooth gears. I ordered the wrong one the first time.
