I picked this up because we entertain a lot. We have a great game room where we host a lot of card games, but there never seemed to be enough space for our guests to set their personal stuff. I figured this would be perfect for that, and it is, but it's really exceeded my expectations and gets used for much, much more!This arrived really quick, well packaged with all of the pieces well protected in a long, heafty and flat box. I had this assembled in less than 20 minutes (by myself, no help). The instructions were easy to follow and all of the holes lined up perfect and were cut clean. For me that's a pretty big indication of quality, so I knew I was going to be impressed.The table top is made from particle board, which isn't my go to choice, but it's nice and hard and has a really beautiful finish. Of course I always leave a stack of coasters on top, but no one uses them- ever (which is so annoying!). To my shock and suprise, the top hadn't warped or shown any signs of distress at all, even when sweaty cocktail glasses, full of I've get left directly on the surface (next to, but not on or touching a coaster of course!). The metal frame has a nice powder coating that is pretty scratch resistant. It is super studry and holds it's own well. I watched as my husband, 6'6", 255lbs and his buddy, 6'4", close to 300lbs leaned on this, chatting away. Not once did it wobble or look like it was bowing or about to give at all. I almost died when I walked into the game room and saw one of my daughters friends SITTING on this table, like it was a bench! I was upset at the situation (we have several comfy stools!) then impressed that this held the teenager without an issue. I like how the adjustable feet (which I added felt pads to, to protect my hardwoods) can go from a hard floor to a carpet (or even half on half off) easily.This isn't a massive or large table by any means. It is nice and wide and tall, but it's slim. It is true to the listed dimensions. I really like this (in my opinion, unusual) size because it works for so many different things. This does have some nice weight to it, but it's still easy to move. As mentioned, we use it in the game room, but I've also used it in the kitchen for extra space when cooking, the dining room for extra space when serving, it's been moved into my office and this has become a favorite spot for the kids to do thier homework. It's just a very sharp looking table that comes in super handy. I'm honestly a bit suprised at how many times this has been the solution to a space issue I've had.Let's not forget to mention the built in outlet with charging ports. I've gotten to a point where I won't buy a piece of furniture that doesn't have this feature because it's just SO HANDY! Obviously, it's perfect for using/charging electronics, but it's also fantastic for when I need to keep food warm and can plug in the warmer right on the table. I've also had my Kitchen Aid mixer plugged in and running during holiday/cookie time.So here it is...Picking this up was one of the smartest things I've done. St first, the husband was less than thrilled at 'another piece of furniture', but he now loves this table and is suprised by how useful it is.Matter of fact, he thought it would be great for his workroom, especially because he could 'plug the tools in right there'. He even showed me how great it looked in there and how well it fit. He demonstrated/mansplained how the plug worked with his power tools (like I didn't already know). Don't worry- he's still alive. I let him keep the table in his workroom, right after I had him order another one for the house.Great product. Super useful. Worth the price for sure!
