Put these on a bass I sent out to a store for consignment. Didnt use them but they sounded fine, pretty much like EB's or D A's nickel line, which is quite acceptable

When I first installed these strings they were REALLY twangy and squeaky. After about 6 hours of play they settled in and weren't as bad. They also don't seem to stretch much as they are already holding their pitch. Only had to adjust maybe 4 times. The string surface is smooth and inviting to play on for such a bargain.
