There are multiple strap closures with buckles, on chest and on attached neck covering which was great for us because blanket was not available in my horse's size and is bigger but fit is good. Substantial weight blanket. Good quality for the price.

I guess that this blanket is just OK for light use and a horse with a smallish chest. The sizing in the body is correct but the amount of room in the chest is too small. It seems that is a problem with cheap blankets.The worst thing about this blanket is that the surcingle closures ARE ON THE RIGHT SIDE! In what universe with horses is this correct when every blanket I’ve put on a horse in my 55 years of horse ownership has them on the left as god intended. Enough said.

This blanket is a good option for a cost-effective choice or as a spare blanket to keep in the tack barn, horse trailer, etc. It is as described in the Amazon listing and images, and the belly strap works just fine. Another reviewer complained about the belly strap being a right-side closure, but I find that you need to walk around your horse to fasten all clasps, so what's the big deal if it's left or right!? Anyhow, the size chart provided by the seller offers clear measurement instructions, and each horse can vary in chest, hip, or girth width, so just measure correctly.Overall, it's fine!!
