These reins feature a closed-loop design with a distinctive braided extension called the romal, typically made from rawhide or leather, often ending with a quirt or popper.   • ✔ FEATURES: Full grain American Harness Leather with Rawhide Braiding. Reins are 53" (4' 5") long with latigo tie bit ends. Romel is 47" (3' 11") long and features a 12" x 1 3/8" contoured popper. Reins are 1/2" wide for a comfortable feel and grip.
  • Features natural and turquoise rawhide accents and a leather popper. Reins measure 8' long with a 1/2" thickness. Quirt measures 4' 9" with popper. Popper alone measures 12" long x 1 1-2" wide.


Challenger leather romel reins are constructed of durable dark brown leather with rawhide button bit ends.

These reins are gorgeous! The leather quality seems fair. I had to oil then a couple times to get them to loosen up. One of the rawhide attachment pieces was put on wrong and will be difficult to fix but overall I am pleased for the price.
