Flat glass on front and sides. Gold detail on side glass panels. Revolving, polished brass-finished pendulum sits below the dial. Quartz single-chime movement. Volume Control. Requires two AA and two C sized batteries (not included).

It is every bit as attractive as the pictures, but the works are a very flimsy plastic and it shows in the imitation rotary pendulum, it wobbles no matter what I have tried. I should have returned it because the quality does NOT match the price, but I waited too late. Also, the chime sounds SICK, I just turned it off.

I purchased this clock more than two years ago and it is a great size. It is almost hypnotic to watch. We have used the clock in several different rooms. It has always been a nice addition to a table or mantel. The clock still looks great and we enjoy it very much.

Es una hermosa pieza pero, desafortunadamente, no tiene control de volumen de las campanadas y suena muy alto y pareciera ser una bocina en lugar de un reloj. Preferí retirar las baterías de las campanadas porque abaratan mucho al reloj con ese escándalo.

The wood is beautiful. I love the moveable turning balances at the bottom. I love the volume control. I love the large readable face. The price was just right for this product. I have run out of adjectives but we just love it!

At first I was going to give the clock a 4 star review based on the fact that the brass pendulum and trims (inside glass casing) appear to be plastic. However the clock is truly lovely and the sound of the chimes is beautiful. I’ve had the clock several months now, and I really love it.

contacting Howard Miller is a waste of time. 1 clock was defective and so was the replacement clock. Calling confirmed that this one was defective also and was advised to return it.

I wish the chime could stop from 10 pm til 6 am. Like other clocks. No way to do this ...manual only.
