Worked great on a 2004 Kitchen Aid site by side refrigerator. This kit has all the parts you might need. I ended up only needing the piece with the tube extension that fits in the bottom of the door. The mating flat piece in the door support pin bracket was fine and I would have needed to drill out a rivet to replace it. I had the door fixed in 15 minutes.

Our 20 year old side by side refrigerator-freezer doors were showing their age and weren't opening and closing very well.This kit was a perfect solution to the problem. Fine value for the price and, after about two years, they are still doing the job.

My fridge door wasn't closing all the way, and replacing this part did the trick. The door now closes and seals great.It was a little tricky removing the door for the install, but once it was off the part was easy to switch out. This was much cheaper than getting an appliance repairman out. The quality of the plastic is of similar quality to the originals, so I expect they'll last another 5-10 years for my usage.

Fit perfectly, works perfectly.I was actually thinking about replacing $1000 worth of refrigerator because the door stopped closing on its own. This saved me almost $1k for 20 minute's work.That's a good deal. Most appliances are very simple machines, there just isn't much to them. Any ten year old could fix them nowadays. All you need is a phillips head screwdriver and maybe a meter.

This replacement parts kit is complete (enough to restore function to both doors, freezer side and refrigerator side). The replacement parts fit into place easily ("dropped into place") without any struggle, and accepted the old hold-down screws perfectly, so that I didn't have to worry if the replacement screws had the same thread-pitch. The replacement parts will work without lubrication, but if you want them to last, the instructions advise you to apply grease to the peaks and valleys of the crenelated bearing surface that rub against each other between the top and bottom cams. I used silicone food-grade grease. It's odorless, food safe, and easy to re-apply in order to minimize wear and tear on your refrigerator hinges. Good solid plastic that feels just like the original. $10 for such an important but simple part is a bargain.There are multiple pieces with different sized holes for screws for compatibility. Of note and why I took off a star - for my fridge model at least, I had to adjust the bottom one a bit so that when the door shuts all the way, it settles into the grooves perfectly. Installed exactly straight like the original and they don't quite fit into the grooves the same. This was an easy adjustment and everything works as it should.
