All these tractor companies get their seals from Hydroseal. They then remarket it under cub cadet, sears, etc, give it their own part number, and mark up the price quite a bit. You just need to know the right part number and save yourself a lot of money by buying the Hydroseal part.

I own a 1996 MTD 42-in 18 hp rider with a hydrostatic drive. This seal fixed my leak in the left side axle.
