While this item is far from the worst offender in the realm of lacking truth in advertising, it still has some drawbacks which aren't obvious until you have it in hand (or on head, if you will). Firstly, the one and only product photo shows this having a top so massive that it will fall to the side; trust me when I tell you that isn't the case. The image also shows a real-deal chef's hat (where the material is silky, and the rounded brim would not have clearly-sewn seams), but this has visible seamlines. Lastly, it's not a good option for larger heads; as its size is roughly medium, and the "adjustable" feature here is simply an elastic piece sewn into the rear, which doesn't have much give.The print is solidly done. The hat doesn't look bad for what it is. And the $12 list price undercuts some of the competition. But I could only tentatively recommend this to people who completely understand what to expect. And the listing itself does a bad job of setting expectations.
