I put this on a predator 301cc 4 bolt valve cover. couldnt really find any info on what I had so I took a shot in the dark on this (close fit) then drove 1.5 hours to buy the appropriate pushrods for this head. After checking the timing and cleaning the carb it ran great! Had to replace the brushes on my generator because I broke them checking the timing but now its powering my house no issues!

３９年前の除雪機の汎用エンジンの修理用に使ってみました。ノーマルヘッドにクラックが入り、去年も１度ヘッドを開けているのでノーマルヘッドの交換をすべく発注したら供給中止、しょうがなくこの製品を購入しました。組んでいて気付いた事。一つねじ穴の場所が違うところがあり排気管の遮熱板固定ねじ穴がありません、使うには支障が無いので当方そのままにしています。吸気側バルブスプリングシートが省略されています。ノーマルヘッドから同じモノを移すだけなので使った方が良いと思います。交換して１シーズンしか使ってないホンダ製の両バルブがあったのでそれを移植して使いましたが寸法的にも同一でしたが排気側のバルブローテータが省略されています。ノーマルスプリングリテーナーとローテータを使う事をオススメします。プッシュロッドガイドも形状が違いますが使用に特に問題は無さそうです。当方サービスマニュアルは持っているので組むのに困ることはありませんでしたが説明書等一切ありません。初めての方などは準備された方が無難だろうと。そのまま組むのであれば一応一揃え入っているので特別な工具は必要ありませんでした。先ほどのバルブの件もこのエンジンは指先に力が入る普通の人であれば特殊工具無しで脱着が出来る構造になっているので今回も難儀はしませんでした。そのまま組んだらどんな耐久度かわかりませんが少し手を加えるのであれば十分使える製品のようには思えました。何せもうホンダからは供給されないヘッド本体なので。英文評価では散々に書いてる人が居ますが、来たまま組んだらああいう事になるのでしょうか。まだ組み上げて３０分ほどしか始動してないので耐久度はなんとも言えません。
