I really love silicone craft mats. I do so many small crafts that they are great for keeping hold of loose pieces, ink, or paint. This mat is even more of a multi-tasking work horse than the other ones I have used. Love the tablet stand! I still have a problem with jostling my craft supplies when I knock it over, but that's nothing new. The cup is a great addition - most silicone craft mats have a place for a little bit of water/rinse tray, but being able to easily change the water is such a bonus!It is a bit more expensive than the other mats. If you're going to be putting this through a lot of use - it's worth it.

One thing I love about silicon mats instead of using newspapers or cardboard that you have laying around the house is that the paper doesn't stick to the silicon, even if it accidentally gets on the underside of the paper or globs near the edges. What I enjoy about this mat, compared to old ones that were purchased for use with resin instead of paint, is that, if you don't need to use the paint mixing attachment, you can fit two pieces of construction paper side by side, with room to spare--as seen in the photo. It is so much more convenient than using two mats. I really like that this mat has slots to hold brushes, so that you can set them down, like you would on the table, without paint getting anywhere or the brush rolling away. The cup for water that fits in the circular slot (which I did not picture) also has slots for brushes and the bottom of it has grooves to scrape your brush off on, which is great when working with acrylics. It is great that this comes with a palette/mixing tray--with a lid!--that you can attach to the mat itself or just use separately. It is very handy and I like how there are multiple small squares for paint, but also two larger ones. Most of my other palettes only have one larger sized spot in the center for mixing bigger batches of paint. I especially think it was a good idea to include the cover, so that if you mix special colors, but are waiting for layers to dry, you can go back to it in another session without it drying up. The slot to prop up a phone or ipad if you are using a picture for inspiration was also a really nifty idea. The mat also wipes off with ease and, due to the thickness of the mat itself, is easier to wipe down than one of my other mats. The only issue I have with this mat? Because it comes with a lot of attachments and spots for those attachments, it doesn't fold up in a nice convenient way. The only drawback is storage, really. However, I think it is useful enough to take up a little space!

Very happy with this--it's great for kneading dough without making a mess of the counter, or to protect a surface while painting or doing other crafts.

Love this if I spill paint it’s easy to clean up and it keeps my space great. It’s durable and doesn’t slip on my desk. It’s a mat that is a all in one artist dream

I do a lot of painting, and this has really helped with the clean up. Way less messy than just doing it on the table. Like I was before.

I do like the mat itself. The wash cup however leaves a LOT to be desired. my daughter bumped it and it collapsed on itself and water went everywhere. I had only filled it barely above half way. The mat and paint pallet work well though and keep my desk easy to clean up after painting, and keep the wood safe when using watercolors.
