Well over 100 holes drilled before it needed a recharge, all in 8-12 inches of ice. It bites well on hard ice and drills holes FAST. Well worth it.

Used this on over 24” of ice at the lake and it was quiet and ripped through with ease. The only issue I have is that Minova does not sell just a spare battery. You have to buy the auger head, battery and charger as a package and although the package is not that much when you consider the cost of a 40v lithium battery is close to a hundred dollars. As well, the handles are a little far apart but overall this machine works great and as advertised! Other than the spare battery I would have given 5 stars!

It does what it says. Worth every penny so far. 10 hole on the same charge. Just hope it will last years.
