I got this to gift to the little Man City fan in our family. I've had it for a month now, and today is the first day I took it out of the cellophane wrap to inflate it. I'm very disappointed - it has somehow gotten stained and these yellowish-green stains don't wipe off. I don't know how this could happen while wrapped.Also, like other reviewers, I'm disappointed that it's ONLY for practice drills. You cannot enjoy "match play" or kick it around with friends. This should be much more obvious. The product page is misleading.

I wasn't quite sure how this ball worked when I ordered it, but my husband was quick to tell me it's a training ball. He was able to get it set up and adjusted to his height and the kids height when playing with them. It's nice that they can practice kicking it without it flying away. It's a nice looking, good quality ball. It's holding up to my husband having fun with it and bringing our kids into the sport too.

Arrived with a hole in so was deflating as I putting in air in it. Wasn’t even able to get one use out of it.

I picked this ball up because I thought it would be perfect for my son since the description said it could be used for training and match play in their description, "Regulation Size 5 - Ideal for both training sessions and match play, meeting standard league requirements." While the quality is good and it's a nice looking ball, I don't see any way to detach the training mechanism to use it as a normal ball. I still gave this a generous 4 stars due to the fact that the quality is nice and it may have just been a typo in the description but they do need to update that. I do expect my boy to get a lot of use out of this and we are happy with it as a training ball.

Beware misleading information on product page. This is a training ball, suitable mostly for younger children.There is no way to detach the tether from the ball and it is not suitable for match play as stated.Does not include pump or needle to inflate ball.
