I had previously bought the set of plastic ones at the local auto parts place. They started to deform from the heat. The picture shows the hose with the two clamps at the joint. I needed to make a custom 1 3/4” coolant hose for my custom radiator install. Fitted in my ‘53 Chevy 3600 truck. Well made , sturdy and will be reliable. I would recommend this item.

Used this to connect two pieces of marine exhaust hose in my boat. One end of the hose was very inaccessible and only part of the hose was damaged from excessive engine heat. This allowed me to splice a section of new hose to the old hose. Seems to have held up well for several trips.
