Bought this for 2 point ground continuity checks. Very erratic reading. Compared side by side with a fluke 1621. Spend the extra and get the fluke

This instrument can measure soil electrical resistivity or not and it sell with cables reels and four electrodes.

Compared to other ground resistance testers with 3 or 4 ground probes, there is no contest. Forget the probes, just clamp the meter around a service ground and you get an instant reading. Even better, the clamp tester reads the resistance of all parallel paths at once, instead of the single path measured with probes.
