These fit together seamlessly with our existing track, free from issues we've had with other products. The turn-table works well and the cross-track that's in two pieces fits together well. The train cars travel over the seams in the track pieces well.

This is a nice collection of switches and connectors. I would suggest using this as a start, then add a couple more T switches and a couple of K switches -- then, of course, a set of segmented track and a box of the male/male, female/female connectors. These additional pieces make track building a lot of fun.

These tracks connect to other wooden tracks just as it says in the description. My 3 yr old son is completely in love with these fun pieces. I would prefer all the pieces to be one cut piece. The ones with pegs seems more fragile. But so far all pieces are still intact, a month later.

These are amazing! My son and I, the whole family in fact, will play with these for hours. They are sturdy, hold together well and make a world of opportunities for building tracks. Must have for any wooden railway system! I especially like all the junctions. My son likes the ends, if we don't have an end he thinks the track is incomplete and we have to keep building- we'd never stop without these handy end pieces.

This expansion set made building tracks with my preschooler so much more fun! We have a large collection of assorted wooden track that I got at yard and consignment sales- Brio, Thomas, Ikea, Target, KidKraft, etc: these pieces fit with all of them. These junctions and intersections encourage my 4 year old to plan his tracks more carefully, and make the finished track a lot more fun to play with. The turntable only fits one train car at a time, which sometimes frustrates him, but it's fun to watch him back his train up and find a different route to where he wants his train to go. I've bought almost no track- 90% of our collection is second hand, and works great- but paying retail for this set and a set of male-male and female-female pieces opened up new worlds of building possibilities. These pieces are a must for an avid track builder.

Purchased this as a gift for a friend's son's 4th birthday, as my daughter (& husband & I) have SO enjoyed the Maxim expansion tracks and specialty pieces we ordered to create more options for the hand-me-down Brio and Thomas tracks she had. I think she might have a few Ikea in there as well... this works perfectly with all those brands. Anyway... I am pretty sure this set and Maxim bridge we got him were the best gifts of the party... oh yeah.... success. He spent the rest of the day playing with trains.Wonderful quality and value... love these tracks. We've bought a total of 4 items now, 2 bridges, one switching/turntable, and this set - which was an insane value with all that is included.

I bought these extra pieces for my toddler daughter's train set and my husband has enjoyed building some awesome trains with all these different connectors! A good addition to any set, works with any wooden train set, and they're well constructed and reasonable priced.
