I needed a light that I could turn on a for a notification. I connected it to a wireless switch so it could be turned on and off from another room. It's bright but not overpowering. I used a small solid state relay that came with the wireless switch to turn it on. I ran a small piece of 14-2 from a nearby outlet to a small junction box that housed the relay. A few hours of work, but it worked perfectly.

It's a great reminder to turn the lights off upstairs in my wood shop.
