it is a very well built auger and very lightweight (almost half the weight of my gas auger) i fished for a 6 days stright 25 to 35 holes a day (per 5 guys) and still had 2 bars left on the battery. Very nice smooth cut even at the break thru at the bottom of the ice no stops or lockups. the reverse button works great for pushing the slush back down the hole less time scooping slush and faster fishing time . The price is hefty but if it lasts as long as my gas auger (25+years) then it will be well worth it.

My husband has a bad back and this is extremely light. Drills holes very quickly. Was well worth the money.
