These are less sturdy than other ones I've found on Amazon-- the cardstock is thinner. Other than that, they function as promised for my classroom library.

During the COVID pandemic our community realized the need for a library closer to home, especially for seniors. I have been blessed with a huge library of books, and now have inherited my elderly father’s books, as he lives with me. My father and I are constantly loaning out our books to his fellow senior citizens and others in the community. We felt the use of these library cards would help us keep track of who has what book. Also, it seems like that the borrower will take it more serious, and be mindful of when they should return the book. Especially since they know we have an official way to track the book. Things get busy at my father’s senior center so I am grateful to have these cards when he decides to take books there to loan out.The library pockets are self adhesive and stick securely. They do not require licking or any other kind of glue. You just tear off the self adhesive strip on the pocket and press hard. The library cards are high quality paper that is thick and heavy. This has already served as a gentle reminder to borrowers to return the book and when I expect it. The library card is taller than the pocket and allows you to clearly see the author and name of the book without taking out the card. Overall, this was a great value to have 250 cards and 250 pockets for the price.
