It worked but the instructions are very liking. Also you have to buy a 30 dollar gateway to use it I over the internet while the ad states that it works with Alexa or Google. Also there no way to lock it expect in the app or with the auto lock that locks it back every time it’s unlock

Now that I finally got this installed, set up, and app installed I have to say I’m very happy with my purchase…Did it take a while-yes. First off, the first one arrived with a defective mechanism. We had already had to completely modify the door AND frame to fit the new latch plate and strike plate-and I’m not talking minor modifications either. So, unless we wanted to get a new frame and door, we had to order another, fingers crossed. So, I would say installing was not a breeze for us. I took one star off for that reason, as well as there being absolutely vague and confusing instructions…there is also a YouTube video for installation, however that was super confusing as well.Overall, I LOVE this product. Would totally recommend it! It is very well made, sturdy, and super fun to use.

Easy install, Just read the instructions. Seams to be of decent construction. I was drawn to this because of price. To the people that say there is no easy way to lock, you NEED to set it up fully. This is not an out of the box unit, and you do need to set up the print and code on your phone. To unlock you can either,1, Enter the code that you set.2, Use your phone to lock or unlock3, Use your fingerprint.To Lock,1, Phone.2, Wake up keypad, then tap and hold anywhere and the finger print scanner should turn blue and lock. Voice prompts are helpfull here.In the phone app, you can also set an auto lock timer, Although the max is 30 min. But for taking the dog or trash out, this is more than enough. I did install this on an exterior door, and while this seems to be advertised more as an interior lock, it does come with 2 rubber gaskets to seal the door. Time will tell how well it will hold up.From experience with the name brand door locks, I would recommend to use a name brand battery, especially in the colder seasons, over the store brands.The only thing that may detract, Is that the knob seems to both oversized in the knob, and undersized at the base of the knob. While this does not affect the functionality, it does look a little unbalanced.Over all, This seems to work and for the price you cant go wrong. This lock does seem to use a Schlage or Dexter style key. Having this re-keyed may be hard as I did not see a simple route to pull the core. I also did not try as I didnt want to destroy a brand new lock.

I purchased this door knob for my business. The purpose of having a keyless door knob with key codes is to be able to lock and unlocked with key codes. I realize after receiving this item that you could not lock the knob without the app. Since I have staff that use key codes to open the business and close the business. The keyless door knob was not created to function just with key codes. You have to have an app, but what if the app malfunction. With the app, you have to be close to the door knob for it to work. I reached out to the company about this issue. One they don’t have a functioning business phone number & I sent a email which took 3 days to reach out to me. they have no way to lock this door knob without the app. This was a waste of money and I will be returning.
