They come in a well packaged box to help ensure no breakage. There is Japanese writing on the black box in gold, which I do not know what it says. The cups and pitcher are small. They are ceramic porcelain. I love the little pictures on all of them. They really are cute and look really nice when serving. This set would make a lovely gift for someone. Really cute set for decoration. I am not much of a sake drinker, but suspect this would be great for that as well. The art is not super detailed, but believe that is with intent. The quality is good. The size is perfect. The box it came with is perfect to display.

This adorable Maneki Neko sake set was the purr-fect finishing touch for my kitchen display. I’d been searching for a "lucky cat" themed item to pair with my black floral tea cups and rice bowls, and this one struck all the right notes. The colors are vibrant, the ceramic finish is smooth and well done, and the sizing is small enough to be elegant but big enough to be noticed.The gift box is a bonus and is attractive enough to double as a display case, keeping everything nicely in place. It would make a wonderful gift for anyone who appreciates Japanese aesthetics or cat-themed charm.One quick note - these should be hand-washed and kept far away from microwaves or ovens. They’re made for sake, not space shuttle re-entry.All in all, a lucky little find that brought a smile to my shelf (and my heart!)

We always wanted a sake set and this is just perfect. It’s a good size for sake on a sushi night at home! Such a nice addition to our home. The quality is good and painting is wonderful.

Well made saki set with a cute cat design. I found a good translator online to be able to read the instructions as it was in Japanese. The set is dishwasher safe.

This sake cup and bottle set is very cute and delicate. The cats appear to be painted onto each set piece because you can run your finger over the picture and feel the texture of the different details, like the eyebrows feeling more gritty than the face of the cat; this probably explains why hand washing is recommended - to prolong the retention of the cat image. Regardless, the cups feel like the right size for sake. The porcelain feels very nice and delicate. It is notable that each cup and even the bottle are not perfect, which actually might be due to being handmade. If you look down at the cup (see picture), you can see that the lip of the cup is not a perfect circle. However this is only noticeable if really staring at the cups looking for imperfections. Overall the set is really attractive.

This sake bottle and cup set is absolutely adorable! The little cat drawings on both the bottle and the cups are super cute. The tokkuri bottle is a bit smaller than I expected from the pictures, but the porcelain feels like really nice quality. This would make a perfect gift for anyone who loves sake!

Such a cute adorable set.They are small but that is what a Saki set is ...small.The artwork is quite pretty. I love the color red so I chose the red ones.I am not sure what the card that came with it says but it is a cute touch.The set came in a gift box so it is ready to be gifted.I did gift this to myself.
