My truck is a 2012 Silverado RWD so I wanted to drop the rear to level it. I now know I could have purchased the 2-inch shackles and recommend you purchase them instead of the 2-3 inch shackles. This project is not an easy bolt-on. Expect light fabrication. I had to bend the pinch-weld of the bed and cut off the top holes of the 2-3 inch bracket to give it room to fit. I suggest removing your shocks and trailer hitch (if you have one). Pro Tip - the two bolts that secure the trailer hitch to the bumper are installed in welded on nuts - you do not need to remove plastic skirts on the bumper as I did.My stock shocks (Rancho OE15560 / 20955427) bottomed out so I needed different shocks. Pro Tip - I called Rancho/Monroe technical line and they did not have a 2 inch shorter solution. I purchased 2-inch drop shocks from Amazon.I did this project in my driveway. You will need a 21mm deep well socket, extensions, 13/16 closed/open wrench. An impact wrench helps with speed. The install took 5 hours of installing, removing, cutting, and installing again. I hope by sharing my tips I can save you some time and frustration. Good luck
