The specifications were not well listed online and this part did not work for our need because the meter did not function at a low amperage (below 5 amps). I tried using this to measure power draw/power factor for a mill and for a pump and neither one would give a reading because the amp draw was too low.Really not an effective product considering the cost.

It cannot distinguish phase angle/ winding rotation order or direction, or tell you the capacitance impedance or inductance of the windings. The display can take a little while to update the measurements, where reading RPM dips within fractions of a second is important. The alligator clips are of good quality, but if you try to clamp them to certain flat crimped terminals like the TD1, the clips will try to slip around. If they had locking spring pins or some other contour mechanism they could be much more stable on flat or uneven surfaces.The cons out of the way, I wouldn't have been able to do what I needed to with a simpler meter not designed for multiple phases. The press-in connectors come with alligator clamps that are mostly guarded on the sides, with plastic tips on the connectors to keep any accidental touches away from the conductive metal. Working with generators that can get to 200V at 500Hz, these small safety features may save your life.
